Our gauge frames are made entirely of corrosion resistant stainless steel. All fasteners and hardware are stainless steel as well. The bracket pulleys are a nylon sheave with a stainless mounting bracket. It is fastened to the tank with two 1/4″ x 1″ self-drilling hex screws, also stainless. The cable is nylon coated stainless steel with a minimum breaking strength of 270lbs. All of this is protected by a stainless cover which is fastened using a wingnut to provide easy access should the operator ever need to access the pulleys for cleaning or inspection. Our design provides the ultimate in wind-resistance, as well as superior protection from all of the other elements. The cable penetrates the top of the tank through a small nylon grommet which allows a very minimal clearance (1/32″) to prevent gases venting into the atmosphere. This tiny opening, in conjunction with the operator never having to open the hatch, results in an environmentally friendly method of doing business, as well as greatly improved safety conditions for the operator. The float is a non-corrosive stainless steel weighted float that will provide years of service under even the harshest of conditions. Our clear polycarbonate gauge body (tube) is extremely durable and UV sunlight resistant. Our high visibility yellow numbering scale is easy to read from a distance. In areas where mud, sand, snow, or ice prevents close access to the tank, field glasses can be easily used to locate the level indicator at a long distance. Our gauges are also compatible with electronic controllers, which we supply upon request. Comes with a one year warranty.
